The silence and nature to your wall: more natural is not possible.
Cork is a rough composite panel of cork bark harvested from a cork oak.
Harvesting the bark of the oak is done completely manual. The removal of the bark has to be done delicately, in order not to damage the tree. The lifespan of a Cork oak can be 250 years. Every nine to twelve years the bark can be harvested. Because of the long lifespan and the natural way of harvesting this is a very eco friendly product.
The panels are standard 60 x 90 cm and about 3 to 5 cm thick. Cork rough has a high decorative value
Cork has a rough acoustic value of 0.42 which gives a better result than 5 mm felt. The panels work extremely well to absorb noise from outside the room like piano-playing neighbors. The acoustic value lies more in acoustic attenuation than in the acoustic absorption.

In order to counteract the effect of poor acoustics our product absorbs sound waves. Our Cork wall panels are ideal for attenuating noise from other rooms. The Cork panels have an absorption value (AW) at 0.42.
